Image Services will aid you  in the repair of OS/390 Systems Images by automatically isolating the components that comprise that specific image. This process, which we call inspection, is almost instantaneous in identifying the volumes and datasets under investigation. Problems are identified and images are compared to individual image standards as needed. Installations that maintain multiple OS/390 images will save time during critical system outages as they are automatically guided to the specific SYSRES, IODF, CATALOG and/or DATASET(s) needing repair.
