IMAGE Focus Compare will
automatically read stored "Image Packets" and
compare one to another or compare a selected packet to your
current production image. The
information provided is critical when dealing with a failed
IPL, cloning/creating a new image or maintaining/upgrading to
a new release of OS/390 or z/OS.
Image Packets are used to
collect the contents of each member of an image as it is processed during an Image Inspection. The result of this collection process is
automatically cataloged and stored for use by both IMAGE Focus
and SAE.
