Through an automated process,
System IMAGES in the Sysplex are monitored in real-time
for configuration and/or resource errors that would result
in a failure of the next scheduled or unscheduled System
IPL. Problems identified are flagged and routed as needed
for immediate action.
2. Reduced System Downtime in the
event of an IPL failure.
Sysplex,
IMAGE and Subsystem Configuration "snapshots" of
healthy systems are built and stored automatically during
inspections. In the event of a system failure, these are
shared with and evaluated by NewEra Software’s Stand
Alone Environment (SAE).
3. Better
System Documentation.
As
required, during each IMAGE Inspection, an Audit Trail of
documentation is created that automatically profiles the
content and health of the operating system and each
subsystem. Compare functions pinpoint changes from one
inspection to the next.
